Trust & Security
How we protect operational data
CargoGrid is an enterprise Air Cargo Operations platform. These are the controls that protect builds, shipments, partner submissions and commercial data. This page is describes the platform.s own controls.
Role-based access control
Every account is scoped to a role. New accounts are created as Partner with the minimum access required. Full Operations access — builds, PMC planning, approvals, commercials and user management — is granted only by an existing Operations administrator. Users can never assign their own role.
Authentication
Access requires an authenticated account. Sessions are managed with industry-standard encrypted tokens and passwords are never stored in plain text. Sensitive operations are validated on the server, not just in the browser.
Row-level data protection
Database access is enforced with row-level security. Users can only read their own profile and role; only Operations staff can view organisation-wide records. Partner-submitted shipments are held as pending for Operations review and cannot include commercial pricing.
Least privilege by default
All accounts and automated processes operate with the least privilege needed for the task. Commercial rates, approvals and warehouse build packs are restricted to Operations staff.
Auditability
Key build actions are recorded in build history so Operations can review how a consolidation plan was assembled.
